Frequently asked questions....
Your puppy needs to have had an initial health check and first vaccination at Rackheath vets. This is to ensure that all attending puppies are considered to be fit, well and safe enough to be around the other puppies.. To organise this or ask questions you can contact Rackheath vets on 01603 955056
£45 for a series of 4 sessions. This is payable at the time of booking
Pre-booking is essential and these often get booked up several weeks in advance when there are lots of puppies around!
Sort of. These should not replace full puppy training classes, but compliment them. These pre-school sessions give your puppy the opportunity to access positive experiences safely before the second vaccination and the aim is to build their confidence while providing support for you.
Your puppy cannot learn everything needed in 4 sessions but this provides a great opportunity to get your puppy off to the very best start
Training classes should be booked in addition so that you can provide your puppy with the education needed to help them develop into a well behaved adult dog. The Puppy School course at Educating Paws covers different exercises than the sessions at Rackheath vets but offer great continuity and compliment each other. To book training classes click here
The age limit ensures that very young puppies are able to access these valuable sessions before they've had their second vaccination. Older puppies will likely be fully vaccinated and are able to go out & about and attend full training classes
Book onto Puppy School classes!
The sooner the better, don't wait until your puppy is older as you can't go back in time and once your puppy reaches the "teenage" stage at 5 (ish) months things become trickier, especially if you have not attended classes to teach your puppy how to focus on you around distractions
You can read more about the Puppy School course here
Yes! I can offer one-to-one sessions for puppies, where I visit you at home to form a plan tailored to you. You can book single or multiple sessions. You can read more about these here
These can be done in addition to the puppy sessions at Rackheath vets, and the Puppy School 6 week course
Do have a browse of the website, as you'll likely find the information you need. Or you can get in touch via email claire@educatingpaws.co.uk
