Pre-School at Rackheath vets
Do you have a young puppy under 12 weeks of age, and are you a client at Rackheath vets?
These sessions are safe, structured and tailored to very young puppies. These are not a 'free for all' run around like traditional puppy parties, these are developed by a behaviourist specialising in puppy behaviour and focus on what's important and appropriate at this age
You and your puppy are invited to attend this 4 part course to make the most of the time you have before your puppy is fully vaccinated
Pre-School Puppy parties at Rackheath Vets perfectly compliment the Puppy School 6 week course (which is available for puppies to begin up to 20 weeks of age)
Puppy School 6 week course
Puppy classes! These are the only Puppy School certified classes in Norfolk!
A 6 week group course for all of the puppy basics and appropriate socialisation. These are specialist classes that have been developed over 20 years to provide only the very best guidance and training methods
Modern, safe, well managed socialisation and puppy training. Hugely beneficial even if you have had puppies and dogs before
Covering Norwich (Hethersett) and Hoveton/Wroxham
Puppy Home School - 3 private sessions at your home
Do you have a young puppy and want to give them a great start, but group classes don't feel right for you?
Puppy Home School is ideal for people and puppies that cannot attend the group classes due to logistics and timing, or for puppies that are very excitable or shy and you're worried how they might cope in a group class
I come to your home, three times, and we run through the training exercises covered in the group Puppy School course
No need to wait for your puppy to be fully vaccinated, they can begin straight away! The upper age limit is 6 months. You can still go on to do the group follow on courses or social events if you like, having done these sessions
One-to-one training - help is here!!
My one-to-one training sessions are completely tailored to you and your puppy and are invaluable for ensuring your puppy has the best chance of growing into a well behaved adult dog
One-to-one training is for you if:
- You or your puppy need some additional support alongside the group classes
- You have puppy training issues you need help with - such as puppy biting, toilet training, jumping up, excitability, recall, lead walking or teaching your puppy to be alone
- You haven't got your puppy yet and would like advice to help prepare (or decide if a puppy is for you)

Group, guided social walks (all ages)
These group social walks are at a private woodland location
Due to popularity these are only available for puppies and dogs that have been through group classes or one-to-one training (and assessed as suitable) at Educating Paws
The aim is to help replicate real-life encounters, and guide your puppy or dog in these situations. I am on hand to coach you and answer questions
Not suitable for reactive, aggressive or highly frustrated dogs; these require specialist support

Arguably the best harnesses available. Comfortable, safe, strong and can be tailored to fit almost every dog due to the unique modular design. Lots of colour options available
Behaviour support
If your puppy has a behaviour problem such as fears, anxiety or aggression then you may need behaviour support with consent from your veterinary surgeon
